The world we live in..
Helping us to be able to help others, is such a blessing..so many volunteers came into our headquarters last nite, wanting to volunteer. From all over…can I help..can I help the Restore, can I be a mentor, can we help use our landscape design skills.
All so many help us to change neighborhoods together..what a blessing it is!

Blessings to all we are doing…amazing..this past weekend we had volunteers from NYPA, from four high schools…Thornton Donovan, New Rochelle Mamoroneck, and Horace Greeley..so great!
Also we had volunteers from Villlanova Alumni and many many more..thanks for city councilors, Patricia McDow, Wilson Soto, City council President Chuck Lesnick, Congresswoman Nita Lowey all coming to our 911 buildathon…we also had volunteers assist at the Toughman on Sunday after our blessed service for 911 at the Armory building we will be at…what a great great Blessing!!!! Friday Sept 10th…a day of preparing in Habitat of Westchester for our 911 buildathon..
A day where we work together, where we pray, where we do service, for the 9th anniversary of 911.
Volunteers from Villanova, from a group of volunteers,
This exciting day helps us see many people work together, work in service, work to help one another of all differen t faiths..
Then at nite, at the Armory building, we join in prayer, at 730pm…to that end join us in a prayer for each other, for peace, for the love of God uniting us..ITS TIME..

Many might be in Montauk, or the hamptoms..ok..but as I drive to my “hamptoms”
I saw Melissa cutting the weeds from our community garden on Porach..on Orchard I met Aretha who with her daughter, said, I willhelp with the fair next week, and the fun..and the food, …she wants a home with her kids…I talked to Nicole, who remembers ten years ago us rehabbing a run down drug building, now with 7 families on the street…thanks to Millard and Linda, Clarence Jordan and the Holy Spirit, habitat builds and changes neighborhoods all over the world…and here..

Today I meet with a group who wants to help
Yesterday I asked someone to pray over the neighborhoods we will build in…you will never change them …the person retorts…we at Habitat believe God will help us change these neighborhoods, with our love, our hands, our action, our diligent development…no question…seems challenging doesn’t it..but we can do it.. we can make it happen, and we will..
As I remember this Labor Day all the volunteers who helped change neighborhoods, who helped change lives, who helped change their own lives..from rubble to homes, from garbage to green gardens, from despair to hope..i say THANK YOU! PRAY WITH US THIS LABOR DAY, and then commit to change more lives following in this VITAL EXCITING MINISTRY, THAT WELCOMES ALL FAITHS, AND NO FAITH..TO HELP BUILD SIMPLE DECENT HOMES….
