Life is good in the hood…the neighborhood, you know..from Sunset drive and bellair drive to that of Mt Vernon Avenue and Yonkers Avenue and Main St….all are hoods.made of people…often we rip thru those hoods with our cars..threatening peoples live, hurting or hitting them, polluting them, etc..our hood, no…we can rip thru, we go slow, thirty miles enforced…the car has been one of the most problematic machines of our century…fast speed, highways upon highways..streets becoming highways, like Main st in New Rochelle, the city continues slowly to do traffic studies, while people get hit, while cars speed like right now outside my office on a Sunday..and while no walking police or speed traps exist..crazy..stay tuned.
I have seen people hit by cars, concrete devastate green, zoning mandate parking for two cars, taking away yards for our families..and kids get shot and hurt, while our hood..is pretty, our hood, as taxpayers gets attending..usually in the north end, or in small towns, etc..you get the picture.
Neighborhood revitalization..just back from Mt Vernon, one of our tri city neighborhoods..yesterday we dropped ten more planters, on streets on 4th street, with our Mt Vernon Young heroes, our partners at harmony design, our friends from Iona athletic dept.
Speaking to my friends, a local policeman from Mt Vernon, he listened to our GATEWAY INITIATIVE EFFORTS..like that we created in Battle Hill and Ashburton in Yonkers…thirteen murders now no more in the neighborhood we are transforming
Including
A new restore
Rehabbed a new chamber building
Got on charter school board
Helped to drop twenty planters, created one community garden
Rehabbed one house and two more on the way.
Helped to create jobs for a Marine from Mt Vernon avenue who was on the street
Created Made in America shop
Engaged police in kicking out drugs and ladies of the night
Helped to paint ten storefronts.
And much more…….we love Mt Vernon. The Gateways, Yonkers and Mt Vernon avenue and from
Thanks to Hyperlink, Mt Vernon Heroes, Bronx River equipment, Anthony and all my small business friends and Mario…
We continue….
Headlines about Oklahoma star from mt Vernon shot with stray bullet continues to be an outcry, that is needed..to be shouted out, putting guns out, and hammers in hands of kids and teens..
The headline says top powerful three woman in westhcester, from IBM from Pepsi, from Chapaqua…
Help me help build homes for moms…its time.
God bless you..the journey continues off to speak …Praise God for whom all blessings flow!
