An interesting and great week…we are blessed to attend so many things..

Tonite we have our volunteer orientation…at 6pm…

We then move onto our work for the St. Pats day parade..

We also prepare for our Superbowl buildathon! Amazing, this coming Sunday..everyones a winner.

From there we then meet with the World Trade Center Silverstein Properties, who sponsor a thank you for us, for Zwicker electric, Rogers construction and more!

And we remember Millard fuller, the founder of Habitat, who passed into heaven Feb 3 three years ago..Feb 3, 2009..Millard we love you..Linda and the Fullers..

what a day…the Interreligious council of New rochelle comes and volunteers with us..then I speak at our friends Haitian Church to youth this evening, after a interfaith discussion in Iona.we are blessed to be able to h help others, to work together, in an interfaith way, in the theology of the hammer..join us in all we do..join us in the mission to end division and heal with hammers, God bless you!

Habitat is a ministry..our witness is every home of love, every changed life, every family member, every volunteers life..we are so blessed.

I wa shonored to have breakfast with co founder Linda Fuller. We reminisced about all of the times we had..the Millard and Linda stories.. The Holy Spirit blessing..the singing of happy birthday for Clarence Jordan when he passed by Lindas children..into heaven..the trips to Paterson and NY, and Boston the habitat family member who is now a Doctor, and the volunteer who is now a Habitat homeowner…from Harlem. God has blessed this journey, we have only just begun.

Each second is gift…our great volunteer board president Mary Bonner has been hit with a stroke..Mary dedicated to helping so many is one person who has dedicated her life to service..we pray for Mary and ask you to join us in this vital prayer..

 

At the end of the day, what we have is a life filled with love and goodness, helping one another, giving to one another…with that in mind, we continue…we move we build we pray..and take each second as gift..

What a historic week…our 2^nd anniversary service remembering the earthquake of Haiti and recommitment…

Our Martin Luther King buildathon..more than 15 years of building..and much more..

Tonite we have our volunteer orientation as well. With that in mind, we are more recommitted than ever, to fight for the right for decent homes for all in different communtiies..to fight for decent housing here and across the world…to help build communities from the button up.

Thanks to the Goldstein family members who came in fifty person plus building group to celebrate Robins fortieth birthday..what a celebration.

Her friends volunteered and donated on her behalf on what was sixty degree weather on Jan 7^th..WOW..thank you so much…!!!
