A new family arrives..here to sign up for their closing..not a new family, but a family that has done hundreds of hours of sweat equity..

With that in mind, we build again..we look for land, we help to be able to support our excellent efforts of Love in the Mortar Joints!

Millard and Linda Fuller, Clarence Jordan..Mother Teresa, all inspired me in my lifetime to celebrate this ministry of love, this Christian embracing of tikkum alum, to help heal the world in Hebrew Theology.

Jesus came to fulfill the Torah, to remind people to get back to what God had already taught, to be repairers of the Breach Like Nehemiah stated, to help do great things in God s love and Name and to help every family live iin a simple decent home.

This vital ministry has now grown..in Westchester we have only just begun in our first 25 years..infant..25 years from now what will we have accomplished…what unique things will we do.

In my lifetime here I have seen us

Build a Bob Vila House in one week

Build our first house in Larchmont

Help fem a disaster families twice

Build green with SIPS Solar and Structures that include blue jean insulation..

To that end, we have only begun…Join us…the Excitement is Still building!!!!!

Easy like Sunday morning..I wish my Sundays were easy..some of my church sundays if you will entail working with synagogues, working with other groups, engaging so many of all faiths, a true blessing no matter what faith..

We  worked to help give out food from our community gardens we have made..working together to help one another..what a great day..seeing families get healthy food, seeing families make it together..not eating junk from bodegas..

There are food deserts in this county..no healthy food places..if we are building there, we look to change it.

We look to make green parks,

We look to make green homes..

Join us in this great opportunity to help change the face of food deserts into healthy areas..

We  are blessed to do so much..from our Brush with Kindness program, which is huge..rehabbing homes for seniors and Vets.

To help to be able to build new homes and rehab existing homes.  Excitingly the challenge of foreclosures can be come homes of hope..homes of love…we now need your Faith congregation to step up.. To help us reach out..be you Yeshiva University or St James the Less, St John and Paul, or Temple Israel…we need to keep it all going in a strong way! With your faith based help we can change the face of Westchester, Faith in Action, become a Faith Buillder!

Every second is gift…we remember Officer Kennedy killed, who volunteered with us on our sites, when at West Point..the cadets, and soldiers give their lives..

They die in Afghanistan, overseas, in battle, in review…each second is gift.

Today I woke up, no one was bombing me, no one was hurting me, no terrorist came after me because of someone like Thomas Kennedy.

May his soul RIP…

Last nite as I prayed and remembered as I walk towards the W Trade Center..in preparation for our 911 builds..I walked past hundreds of homeless..they sleep on the same chairs people sit on in the middle of broadway..

They sleep in hallways, they sleep on any chair..why homeless still after all of our work why people without a place to stay..

A walk around Manhattan, then a bike ride…I often leave westchester to bike around NYC….afterall Westchester is the eighth burrough of NYC…we don't want to admit it..

But what goes on, could overflow in a  huge way out here..I often wish Mike Bloomberg would over see Westchester as well…sounds crazy, but we have so many layers of government, so many layers of overcharged municipalities and in the highest taxed county…why could nt we be winning better now..as NYC overflows and real estate at an all time high..I don't understand it..

What I affordable home ownership was a right here..wouldn’t taxes be less..wouldn’t families who rent regenerate taxes back into the system with pride of homeownership to boot.

We need to think differently, no question… we need to change the way we work…its time…the eighth burrough of NYC..? Who knows
