The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock; and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain saith the Lord.  Isaiah 65 talks about that..working together, all backgrounds, all faiths, all nationalities..what a great world this is, what a great life this is..

We are blessed to be able to see all backgrounds in the spirit of Isaiah, in the spirit of the theology of the hammer.

Tomorrow I travel to the Founders day in Paterson NJ, what a day, I am honored to be invited as they have built more than 250 homes there, I was one of the initial founders and workers there, with blessed days and memories of this important work! This important day, is one which John Algera, Rev Stan, Ed Ray Melvedt, and Robin Melvedt, Dawn Boulanger and more all met regularly to get it going..what a blessed affiliate!

With that in mind I celebrate every habitat across the world.

Today we rebuild a Brush with Kindness project in New Rochelle our 11th project here..

We also help to prepare for ibm working tomorrow, and Grenwihc high school, and Bronxville high school

We are so blessed to be repairers of the Walls, repairer of the BREACH, in Westchester county, like Isaih called for..wont you help us repair what needs to be rebuit again?  We need your help now!!!!!

Pss last nite we were able to donate furniture to one of the Waverly Avenue families, who was burned out in the fire that was where the firefighter passed away….we will also help the emt who helped the people at waverly his families homes, at a request.. God puts us in the middle of so many things..we are always blessed to help…pray for these people who suffered in a great loss, a horrible fire, !!!!

God bless, jim

a prayer today for all families and our work.

as we move ahead, lets see what we can be doing to help others today.,..but you must start by some mediation of thought for a great day and blessings..to help others. in your company, business, work congregation school and or family!

Today we are blessed to help families learn more about saving energy in their homes as we move ahead and build.  Also i want to give thanks to Shannon and our new work wtih Johnn Jay High school..who are going to come and volunteer with us.

a note about people past in History. who wanted to save enrergy and help families in their homes..

First!  Eleanor Roosevelt, yes Eleanor was a builder of communities and helped to develop and support insulated walls in homes that could save energy..what a great thing it is...

FW: WERE NOT OUR HEARTS BURNING

One of my favorite scriptures talks about when two people meet the Lord...Were not our Hearts burning when we heard Him!  The other is about the lily of the fields and the sparrows and how God takes care of them all, and us!  We have so much to be thankful for!

My heart burns when i get on a Habitat site, or in a neighborhood of people who are trying to move themselves up! my life has been filled with experiences from welcoming Point Lookout Church to that of the St Lukes Methodist to the Jewish Teen group and the Levine Bar Mtizvah group all coming out this weekend...on our sites!

The theology of the Hammer brings us all together not in a seperate service but in that of a common congregration on the work site! What a great congregation it is..of all backgrounds of all faiths, working on a site together!  Now thats a workship service!

Pray for our meeting with the county..the law suit requiring communities to build, is an opportunity to bring that exact same community building process i just wrote about into communities that have excluded..so join us!!!!!!!! We are going to be building in your town today! God bless, Jim

a great blessed day today!

You know we can never underestimate God in our life, how he blesses us, to help others, how people like you contribute whoever you maybe.

I was looking at articles from the past yesterday, the Nodine Hill fire, after Amy Guzman was killed in the neigbhorhood there, we moved the family to Walnut street to a new home, they have had a new baby, beautiful daughter, two great sons..and now are going to college...soon..

not replacing the baby, but your help made this family continue, safer ..with Amy as an angel watching over them...

You might think I might be too spiritual and some not spiritual enough!  we are working so hard but many people come to us to help us, many come to assist us, to work with us, like Barbara and Joshua..who came to our volunteer orientation...

so heres to a new day, for your helping in some way, to assist us!
