Saturday on site many were there, helping to make it all happen...volunteers were welcomed by two families doing sweat equity...helping out, telling them how unbelievable it was for people to be helping build their homes...Love in the mortar joints Millard and Linda callled it...Love in the mortar joints...can you beleive you have the sweat of Jewish and Christian and Muslim and companies and kids and families and congregations all inyour home..habitat families?
so amazing..every day...so amazing...
switch to Harbor Fest Mamoroneck...like being home...i bring our SoNoNewRo bike members there, to see our work, to see Liz Covingtons home, and we have a table, where volunteers sign two by fours, sign them andthey go into the house, donors sign them...and volunteers like Mary Lou and Niall and Mary and Dave and many help to tell the story, come build with us...the Local Project committee of Mamoroneck Larchmont is strong, like that of Somers, like that of Yonkers...
so stay tuned, exciting things will be happening all summer ..along with our Builders Camp..
Last I need to give praise to our Lord Jesus Christ, who motivates our very heart of our existence, and calls us to welcome with my Jewish and Muslim friends, to help love one another and lead one another so another wall can be built, another neighborhood, another families life, and volunteers life can be changed forever...thank you Lord.
