Psalm 81 states Sing aloud unto God our strenght, make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob...take a psalm and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery. Bluw up the trumpet in the new moon, ....what a great way to see our God, praise Him this Saturday morning, Praise Him this day, for all your breathe for your life, for your legs and arms and hands, for your hopes and friends and yes even for those who dont like you or hate you.. God loves you and I......the essence of Habitat is a story of love!!!!! years of hatred, prejudice, greed, discriminiation have caused such blatant problmes with our world..but Love is the healer and the hammer one of the instruments....

 

The founder of Habitat Millard Fuller stated, if you believe in the Koran Torak or Bible..they all say love one another, A REPORTER ASKS ME YESTERDAY, WHAT IS THE THEOLOGY OF THE HAMMER... it is about love...

 

Yesterday we had a LOVE CALL..sounds wierd right, but...Chris from the Presbytrian Church and Brad from the Synagoge were talking about house for the elderly person they were going to rehab....

a story of love...helping a senior during Building on Faith week with their house.. they will work on the site at the same time....with people of faith and no faith...Sat Sept 12th kicking off our Building on Faith..they will use the Hammer,and the painbrush and the sweat and the windows of instruments of LOVE... go figure..

so what are typically segregated groups on weekends, are brought together on site in the Theology of Love, in the Theology of the Hammer!

 

 

what a concept, what a reality with Habitat, what are you waiting for with your congregation!!!!!!!!
