FW: blog

A great Saturday in the vineyard..in the fields, in the relief areas, on our homes, with volunteers, with hearts..in this the DECADE OF SERVICE….so many are hoping to have life, hoping to have great helping opportunities..today in New Rochelle a big Brush with Kindness project exists..

A big project exists to be able to paint the housing authority. I am blessed to know many people where thousands live with hope..only rentals had they been ownershiop familes equity would have been unbelievable..and kids in college and kids moving ahead

We looked at our COLLEGE HONOR ROLL. Where we now have many college graduates now out of our Habitat homes. Thanks again to the Lanza family foundation who is backing our students with scholarship monies again, backing them to be able to make it , to be able to succeed, to be able to move ahead!

What a great opportunity it is…to be able to see these kids move ahead….no question.

Today we welcome Iona Prep, New Rochelle Methodist Church as well as many others on our sites.. God blesses us so much with volunteers!

Today I also get ready to go to Haiti with Emmanuelle and Pastor Pierre…the end of our Martin Luther King Buildathon, 12th annual..leaves us with

A call to MISSION..MISSION HAITI- HABITAT OF WESTCHESTER..we have many signed up for our first trip already and we will be leaving Sunday…and follow up with mission there…thank you TF Andrew Carpet One, the Lanza Family Foundation, Mary and many others who are donating to this trip.

God bless us all in our trip and our work. When we return, we will take our subcommittee and plan aggressive building trips and sending trips.. to help.

Praying last nite at Leglise De Baptiste..Ainge brought me a Bible in French..we sang songs of praise, worship in Creole and French…

We will see many rise up with hope, homes, help and health from all of our prayers, work and building stay tuned…if you want to write a check for these efforts right on the memo MISSION HAITI!

Yesterday I was blessed also to be in Chapaqua with Gerry Faiella and Barbara Gerardi, great people..with the board they are leading people ahead with me to build in Chapaqua… a local project committee is being made, and we have many build opportunities. Thank you to local Citibank managers from there.Nancy Lex and Steven Tvert, who are offering to help as well.
