We worked on ten homes, helped families, and helped to send support for two homes to Haiti. What a great weekend…more than 150 volunteers working all over the county, helping us keep the Dreams come true…Yet the county is getting sued by HUD< not in 195 but in 2010…dividing lines are hidden by realtors, and prejudice and economic discrimination is alive and well…we need a paradigm shift …a change in our work to see all families have a home…we have made developers the heros, while families are burdedned with property taxes…we have made little workforce homes and jobs for those here, while millionis leave NY…time for CHANGE...the winds of change are in order, with hearts hammers and habitat..
