How Green is your home!

A million dollar question in many ways, a life changing question, a life saving question..all of this is something that we start with a premise of how do we save energy, make our Habitat homes green..and help to save money and energy for the future……more and more people are looking with a Green Eye if you will….what type of paints..how about carpet….do I get the LED’s…is solar an option….what about rain barrels…

Utilities have always skyrocketed..combined with tax bills…its amazing to see how high utilities can go..

For us..saving energy and utilities always became the mantra..how do we save for the future..how do we save money..our homes, our healthy our communities…

This no longer seems to far fetched, or that we are greenies…if you would..

This becomes not a pipe dream, as the next storm Hurricane is out in the Pacific and homes burn from forest fires..and floods and weather advisories come out more and more…

All of this is vital to our existence…as I get older, I am proud I was in the right direction..hoping to put Solar on buildings, where ever we could..proud to have brought a wind company…to look at introducing wind on our homes, and neighborhoods..proud to have introduced SIPS into the county in a big way..reengineered wood, our recycling Restores…honored to hope we have shed light..that saving money is a good thing..with going green, saving lives, greening homes and our neighborhoods…

To that end we now hope to be OTG…Off the Grid! That hurts! Ouch..hurts who…those who make tons of money off of average consumers…or does it help us all for the environment…

On my desk is a Green Bible…The Psalmist wrote…in Psalm 50 The Mighty One, the God the Lord, speaks and summons the earth, fromt eh rising of the sun to its setting,

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth!

Lets us continue to add a green goal a day..in our lives..turning the tipping point back, saving money, saving resources, and living a life full of healthy food, homes and communities once again! God bless you!

Ps our Green Seminar is on for the Fall….stay tuned!
