FW: blog

Today a family came in…after I got a text from Stacy..Jim trying to shortsale our house …in sandy area…she says.

Trying to cover our costs..just realizing your whole life is gone, and trying to shortsale your house, like so many, or figure if you can ever go back…well that becomes a hardship for sure….we worked on another sandy relief home today…

We cant wait to get back in..for sure.

With that in mind, we think of all those who have no home…

Like Fransisco and his wife Denise and three kids..Aug 20th I went to peekskill 100 displaced..we were there, like so many times..the challenge is no rooms at the inn, after people have to live the shelter or school . We distributed five truckloads of furniture, labor, love @25,000 of supplies as well as new beds, thanks to #TFAndrew Carpet One, the Fahys and so many who helped…

Today in the Restore Fransisco and Denise came in..she is head of the PTO, he a head chef…their lives changed forever as tomorrow, we help them move into a condo we were finishing rehabbing in Peekskill.  Gods timing…beautiful theymove into a bigger space, their lives changed forever..

Your donation helps us respond, hit the ground running, 1800 homes helped in Sandy, thousands here in Westchester,

Your donation keeps us going….with that in mind in all we do and say we give THANKS!
