historic buildings, we knock them down, we throw them away, creating more landfill and we dont move ahead with any development that includes affordable homes..no question..what a world we are creating..

we need to hold accountable now Smart development..smart use of buildings and saving our history, no question...in the newspaper today another article to letter to the editor, about stopping the historic post office building from being knocked down..so important...lets get Smart Westchester, lets get Historic and preserve our buildings, not stopping good development but making it Smart...time for us to change the obscenity of knocking down buildings of a great city of history..to that end we are looking to preserve a building on Main street to make affordable condos on them. we just finished two rehabs on Lincoln that sat there for six years empty and now they look beautiful...thanks to all of our volunteers, the city of new rochelle, HUD and others, helping...New Rochelle High School too...lets get Smart New Rochelle....

 

Also hats off to my Lincoln High School club who celebrates their end of the year celebration today at hteir school for all their hard work.. also the the Pleham Middle School who raised in their fourth grade 150 dolalrs for us today...thank you so much!  you are all my heroes...lets kee our work going folks..in a year of Change as the operative word, lets make it happen for us to change our communities to Sustainable and to realize affordable housing in communities is definitely sustainable, no question...and needed, so we save gas, rebuild real communities, live with a sense of history and celebrate our world in a greener way..with gratitude, jjk
