the nite before Gustav..hurricane of the century states Mayor Nagin..Governor Jindal gives his address half an hour ago, evacuate...an email from Rodney a new orleans family we helped get relocate here to harlem...after meeting his family in the queens hotel that many displaced Katrina victims were, writes, Jim if you go , let me go withyou tohelp Gustav victims..or families...Dominic calls, Rissa is in from Denmark, her luggage lost, here to help set up Mr Ponds services..tomorrow Rissa and I speak about the 14th service, celebration in memory of Dicks life.....a prayer for all, it seems since 2001, events just happen and happen, around labor day, the city council president writes too, Jim are you having a September11th day of service..I reply of course, join us,......days of service..crisis call us to do it, tomorrow we move out the armory, yet to have lost the battle but not the war..where we helped fill this historic building with every type of supply you could imagine for workers at ground zero.......what winds swirl around you ..the financial crisis, a family tornado, a crisis of hope..a crisis of faith, perhaps a commitment to faith and service, that will get us through any tornado, any hurricane any loss, and monetary challenge we could ever imagine..for sure..!!!!!
