FW: blog

A day to celebrate Women of the Decade, of the century in many ways…

We have many who help, many who join us all the time, in helping us to make Habitat for Humanity of Westchester what it is, how it can be blessed for all of us.

This includes Mary Bonner, who the day she retired from an executive position in the Great Neck School System, still getting offers to this day, she comes 7 days a week, helps at 2 by 4 sales, building, praying, running our Restore and president of the board…totally amazing..

Mrs Diaz..a family member, who with love now a grandmother, young at that grandmom..she helps the whole neighborhood..by volunteering with us..and helping to mentor others..

Mrs Horton, Steve Hortons mom..who has been a great communitarian here across the city of Mt Vernon, she has helped thousands in Mt Vernon….with her loving ways..

And Nita Lowey..the unstoppable Congresswoman who with love and leadership, she has led this district and the country in helping and in international aid..

And Pat  Lanza whose family foundation and philanthropy has not only helped Habitat, but changed the face of Habitat homeowners with her support and with scholarship monies for thousands in her love and giving…

So many help us daily, so many of us help us all the time in great ways to show their love…so THANK YOU TO ALL THE HEROS SUNG AND UNSUNG. Who help us ALL THE TIME, WITH THEIR BLESSINGS!
