FW: blog

Labor Day weekend…the traffic beeps, the ambulances drive thru a highway, people rushing..yikes…

Some walking some biking, some kayaking….as  a I reflect on all of our work..our restores, our building, our community building our volunteers…I am grateful for the sweat of our labor…that we think about how people live in the community where we build..that it is an honor to give hope, bring hope, have hope to share that the world can change for the better….we pray for no war in Syria today, we pray for our families we have helped n haiti, in Tajikistan, in New Orleans, in El Salvador, in Mexico, and India..in Yorktown and Larchmont, Yonkers and  Mt Vernon….

We stop for a  moment tomorrow, recognized in a parade in Breezy..an honor..in hopes no storms, no hurricanes, no tornadoes…in hopes  of other Labor Days, where all will be able to live back in their homes and in other simple homes…
