Amazing..I see urban farms and Green rehabs of homes two of the biggest manufacturing jobs in the country to be created….
I have hired to urban gardeners/farmers for us in the city..we need to have our own healthy food..replacing bodegas replacing soda and the junk food they serve at CVS countertops right up front (duh) replacing the ways that we are obese and have children's diabetes….in Yonkers our marching band learns how to do service, help build..and help grow food, its vital! They do it every Saturday helping..
It is vitally important for them to have ownership…ownership..many municipalities discourage ownership…many discourage taking care of their own communities, not all..we say NMU! Attend NMU..our NO MORE UGLY academy of revitalization…of making our world a better place, of making every neighborhood look beautiful…every week we will target NO MORE UGLY!
