Is vital , by Lara Van Lipsky and Connie Burk..gives some good insights for those of us in the Sandy fields..helping and being helped….

Some days when I arrive late, I forgot what street lights looked like on..as for months lights were off in the Rockaways….It was not until last week, after months and months, a katrina worker wrote..that she felt normal again…

Its like an earthquake hit you inside…because one side of the earthquake, or hurricane in this case stayed ok..parts of new York..while thousands were wiped out…and daily and nightly one remembers that..

Support one another, pray, walk, do something different..we are here for the long haul folks…to get families in, and to rebuild correctly. God bless you!
