FW: blog

In our efforts to lead in revitalization,we look at things like how is the education quality for our kids in the hood, how is it for our scholars..

How is it for future leaders of America. We look at green space, can kids have healthy foods, or is it a food desert…where only bodegas abount with sodas and sugar …we then look grow food….and what job opportunities exist..not just a nice home…but what exists to help families…have a livelihood.\

In a number of areas, a couple of things.   Carsand roads, rip thru the neighborhoods…be in Main St in SoNo New Rochelle, be it in Mtvernon avenue, be it on Ashburton..(which has now been slowed, thanks to our work with the city)  just think how much land is for concrete and cars, not kids and caring…usually in low income areas.  For instance in the S. Bronx, the Bruckner ripped thru thes Bronx and now the worst asthma in the country.  Robert Moses loved cars and highways but not always the people he ripped thru their neighborhoods with…too much.

Its time, we can reverse anything if we desire..Join this vital mission, to take it back…be onour Local Project Committees..help plan out the future to be greener healthier, and positive,…everywhere, its time. God bless you!
