Lincoln High school at Yonkers restore, Horace Mann and Lincoln both interviewed by the NY Times on community service....then we get a call..one of your family applicants homeowners son, got shot last nite...
pray for him, just 17..great kid.. no one knows..we take so much for granted..i go up to Rye and see the regulars..Jay, Chucky F. the team with a veteran Doug Sesler from Bronxville Reformed Church and all the youth along with John Lapins, take nothing for granted kids..you dont know what kids like our familys son goes thru..we have one two three four worlds...safe worlds unsafe worlds..homes and no homes...veterans withno homes and veterans coming back...yes veterans were served lunch today by some of us inthe middle of a typical habitat days journey..where do you live..do you have a home...remember the GI bill, we have to fight for more veterans ownership housing....then a radio announcer calls me, Jim i know you were on the right track now....then Alex an Argentinian American whose daughhter is building in Argentina now responds to my call, Jim I will have the cabinets for you shortly, with his lilted accented voice.. a great family, we commit together over the years to send money to build homes in Argentina...and have tithed there, and sent support there...a world to change....
what a whirlwind of life we live in.. be grateful to God for your home your life, your community, your ability to walk...join us...we need your help and prayers now..WALK WITH US TOMORROW!!!! WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT NOW...I NEED TO GET THE SONS OUT OF HARMS WAY IN BAD NEIGHBORHOODS SO THEY WONT GET SHOT..WE NEED TO GET VETERANS HOMES ..WE NEED TO SACRIFICE AND CELEBRATE LIFE AND BUILD IT TOGETHER..GOD BLESS, JJK
