the snow is coming...restores open tomorrow..life is good for those of us who help one another...
all of it seems a game sometimes..accumulation of wealth, getting so much, than Madoff hurting people..then people worrying about wealth, rather than each other, or their kids..why does this happen...like a big Kibbutz, the world should be..or communidad de bases..or one big Habitat neighborhood, what do you think..some of the things i think and pray about...the more i go, and grow...younger?....i think about how blessed i am everyone crosses my door daily...from a new orleans transplant rodney who we helped in a huge way today, and sharon from nola, who lives in queens...to frank a veteran, who we helped from being foreclosed...to the customer in the Restore..who comes with her daughter who got beautiful things for her home for nothing...to K and D out there picking up furniture, two college kids...to the local merchants we see daily.. God blesses us with people crossing our paths...again thanks to Wayne Lemmon and his family for crossing our path..for wayne with amazing expertise, offering in his life to help..and to share, and to commit to helping Habitat, now in heaven, he passes to watch over us we hope like an angel..with blessings for his wife and two kids..
so every SECOND IN LIFE IS GIFT...the theme for 2009, as well as THINK GREEN, BUILD GREEN SAVE GREEN....AND NATURALLY THE EXCITEMENT IS STILL BUILDING!!!!
Tomorrow in the snow volunteers come out and help...will you pass the habitat way...with us..or who you pass tomorrow, may you realize you are a BLESSING FOR THEM...as you are for us..
