an interesting day, everyone is....
yesterday i was blessed to get a call from John Boykin, Mayors office...assistant in Mt Vernon..Jim I set up the meeting with the superintandant of schools..about the Habitat club...John is a great future star...African American, Cornell Grad..who will go far..good hearted, bright, and he has been helping us look at sites, and look at starting a Restore there, as well...a great guy no question...
Along with the Ken Jenkins sat with me late yesteday in White PLains with a family hoping to build a home ...very exciting..we also had a great donation yesterday to from a company that went under...Alex of Wood Designe in Peekskill,whose our Green Cabinet partner, one of our GREEN BUILDERS.. called me and said Jim..my friend has all of these things that are going to be thrown away, wasted..come up come up...in a short time i am in Peekskill and receiving amazing things for our Restore, for our work, for our supply stores...Alex, also will be having me speak to the AIA group of architects in Peekskill at the Crystal Bay restaurant this week.. thank yoiu Alex of Wood Designe...we have so many BLESSED PARTNERS IN HABITAT....JJK
