each day each second is gift..do you think those on the Hudson feel that way who were on the flight that landed on the Hudson River..do you feel that way...what a beautiful life we have..what great people help us.,..what miracles happen every day...some call them God winks when God gives us little miracles or answers to prayers and others call them miracles on larger levels like the tremendous work of Sully Sulenberger..cast into history forever yesterday afternoon.he helped be part of the miracle....pray for all on the plane..pray for all involved..pray for thanksgiving for the miracles, God winks, blessings you will receive today, and then help someone...
For us it is helping Rose and her family, helpng the Youngs..preparing for the Martin Luther King Buildathon...
one of the most important weekends of the year for all of us here at Habitat..it is the anniversary of my mothers passing..but also she an angel..this weekend commemorates Martin Luther Kings DREAM OF OPPORTUNITY, DREAM OF HOME OWNERSHIP DREAM OF EQUALITY...DREAM OF EQUAL LIFE FOR ALL..Dwight Worley a reporter I have known for years..asked what i thought about Obama coming into office, and will there be more opportunity...for sure I respond..with hopes of DREAMS COME TRUE FOR ALL...we will paint the YMCA in Mt Vernon this weekend..we will help to be able to work on finishing homes on Porach Street, we will work on Greenburgh in another home.. and help another family...these are DREAM BUILDERS..OUR VOLUNTEERS, OUR MANY WHO COME OUT TO HELP US BUILD DREAMS FOR OTHERS....like Sully Sullenberger, they are our heroes, day in and day out, helping people get closer to have their miracle of homeownership...REMEMBER EVERY SECOND IS GIFT..

Ed Berry from Jackson Lewis...Gayle Assher our first White PLains architect...Ted Damore, John Cotugno,
Peter Kurth, Ray and Tom Leigh from IVI and the list goes on and on..and Valerie..all helping to build and be Dream makers of their own...I challenged them to look in their own communities see about getting out there to be able to resdesign communities to include Green Affordable Homes...Green Affordable Condos ...so many ...
thank you Alex, whose daughter is in Argentina...building..thank you Kevin for your kids building..thank you God for the ability to have eyese and a heart, though unworthy with the ability to help make Dreams come true...
